38 grassroots women from Papua and West Papua have been involved in the movement to encourage forest and land become fair, equal and sustainable. Regional Governments of Papua, local champions, and representatives of civil society organizations sharing their experiences in realizing the gender equitable governance. The sharing event was held in Papua in March 2019 and be a forum for women leaders to share the challenges in naturan resource management as well as get feedback from decision-makers in order to overcome the challenges and encourage the acceleration of forest and land management are fair and equal in their region.
